The Greenwood Lodge is a family run hotel situated in residential area close to the beach at Havre Des Pas, yet only a few minutes walk from the busy shopping centre of St. Helier, the beautiful gardens of Howard Davis Park and also the sports and leisure complex of Fort Regent.
Greenwood Lodge has been owned by Mr. and Mrs. Snow and family since 1975. They take pride in offering a high standard of catering and offering personal attention for which the hotel is deservedly well known. Excellent English cuisine is offered for those guests on half board terms, and also a sea food menu (with supplement) for those who wish to sample the fresh local specialities. Vegetarians are also catered for with a varied selection. The menu is complemented by a well chosen wine list, all served in our pleasant non-smoking dining room by friendly staff.
All bedrooms are comfortably furnished with: Private en-suite facilities, T.V. with satellite and English channels, direct dial telephone, radio, tea and coffee making. Superior rooms have hair dryer, trouser press, room safe and teletext T.V.
The hotel has a small residents cocktail bar, also a T.V. lounge.
The small pool is surrounded by a sheltered patio with sunloungers for relaxation on hot summer days.
St. Helier is the ideal base from which to explore the island and adjacent coast of France (passport required). Jersey itself has all of the ingredients for a memorable holiday; spectacular coastline for walks and drives, water sports, sandy beaches and quiet coves.
Jersey heritage is evident throughout the island with many interesting castles, monuments and museums. As the Channel Islands were the only part of the British Isles to be occupied by the Germans in the Second World War there are many fortifications and bunkers well worth visiting, including the German Underground Hospital.
Whatever the reason for your visit, whether it is business or pleasure, we can assure you of a warm welcome and an enjoyable stay. We are sure you will want to return, like so many of our satisfied guests who have been returning to us year after year.
We can arrange a package for you to include your travel arrangements from the U.K. or Ireland with accommodation, travel insurance and car hire. Please inform us of your requirements.
